Evidence-Based. Trauma-Informed. Tailored to You.
At Examined Life Psychology, therapy is never one-size-fits-all. We draw on a range of evidence-based approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Schema Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), selecting and adapting techniques to suit your unique needs, history, and goals.
Central to everything is a trauma-informed philosophy. This means your safety and comfort are prioritised from the very first session. Therapy moves at your pace, and your whole self, mind, body, and nervous system, is held with care throughout the process.
The goal is not just to manage symptoms. It's to help you understand yourself more deeply, process what has held you back, and make meaningful changes that carry through into everyday life.
